The Night Tappers is about 13-year-old Chit Chit and her younger brothers work at the rubber plantation close to where they live in Mon State, Myanmar.
Chit Chit voluntarily quit the school because her family needed her to work
They work from 2:00a.m to 5:00a.m and 6:00p.m to 11:00 p.m earning only about 3$ per day.
According to the U.S. Department of State 2016 Trafficking in Persons Report, Myanmar is one of the six countries where natural rubber is produced with child labour.
"Child Labour in Plantation" report of ILO stated that children working full time - the same hours as adults-are exposed to hazards such as snake attacks, pesticides, long hours and injury from sharp tools with most work performed in isolated locations such as rubber plantations.
